Wicked @ Victoria Apollo Theatre
Wicked is one of my favourite shows of all time, and this year Lucie Jones joins the cast as Elphaba! It’s such an exciting casting change that it’s the perfect reason to settle in for another comfort trip to Oz.
Legally Blonde @ Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre
I’ve seen a few shows now at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and it’s got a special place in my heart as a unique venue. Every show I’ve seen there has been strikingly and artistically re-imagined, such as Jamie Lloyd’s Evita, so I’m very curious to see how a show like Legally Blonde will translate to both this space and trend of vision. Plus, Lucy Moss of SIX fame is involved which just adds to the excitement!
Beauty and the Beast @ The London Palladium
Unfortunately, my original visit to see Beauty and the Beast at the Wales Millenium Centre was canceled due to the introduction of new COVID restrictions in Wales. However, the theatre gods have been kind and the show will run this summer at the London Palladium. I haven’t yet bought tickets and this is a popular show, so I’m hoping I’m not jinxing this, but if I can be there I will be!
